6th Annual Rotary Club of Sandton Poetry Competition

The Rotary Club of Sandton is committed to supporting basic education and literacy among the communities of Johannesburg. 

We are absolutely delighted to receive your entry for our sixth annual poetry competition themed:

"Outer Space"

Submission Deadline : Friday, October 2nd, at 17:00. 

Winners Announcement: The announcement is tentatively scheduled for late October. Winners will be notified through their school representatives, with additional details provided in a mailer sent to all participating schools. Further information regarding the award ceremony venue and logistics will follow closer to the event date.

Criteria for Poetry Entries: Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Sticking to the theme: OUTER SPACE

• Uniqueness of the poem

• Best choice of words

We've opted for straightforward criteria to ensure consistency in evaluation, aligning with the grades of the entries.
